MAGACH 6 during israeli intervention in Lebanon 1982
The Magach 6 is an Israeli armored vehicle based on an American M60A1 tank. The bricks installed by the Israelis on the turret and glacis provide effective protection against the RPG rocket launchers that the Arab armies had in very large numbers. The Israeli version received an additional pair of machine guns and a new commander turret. This version had its baptism of fire during the Lebanon War, the aim of which was to drive out the Palestinian armed forces established in that country.
The model is an old Esci model equipped with some AFV Club workable tracks and Verlinden machine guns. The figures are from Dragon and Verlinden, and the building was constructed from featherboard.
