UH1-C in Vietnam

The UH1-C helicopter is one of the versions of the “HUEY” so emblematic of the Vietnam War (see the famous scene from “Apocalypse Now”). The C version succeeded the less powerful B, and is the short-cab version of the HUEY family. The UH1-C and UH1-B were often transformed into ground-attack helicopters by the addition of rocket-launching baskets and machine guns.

The model is an old 1/48 Monogram production with new decorations from a decal sheet whose brand I’ve forgotten.
