Ambush in Afghanistan
In the 1980s, a Red Army BTR70 wheeled armored vehicle was hit by rocket-propelled grenade fire. Although there was little external damage, the crew was wounded. A BMP2-D tracked armored vehicle came to the rescue and evacuated the crew.
Both models are made by Dragon, while most of the figures are of the same make, but modified with putty. The pair of figures on the roof of the BTR70 is a transformation of WWII German tankers from the now-defunct Warrior brand.
The set was designed by JP Etchanchu.
